When Did I Become The Older Lesbian?
Everybody knows that in gay world, when a man turns thirty, it's like his love life is over. Guys are into the cult of youth and there's nothing you can do about it.
Surely, this is a big generalization, but bare with me for now. On the other hand, it seems like girls don't have that kind of problems.
Being an older lesbian is not the end of the world. On the contrary, girls who fancy girls have a thing for experienced and older women who have it all in their lives.
Therefore, I always imagined that being an older lesbian is fun and cool from that point of view.
All the younger chicks like you and you have a job and all that. And then, one day, I overheard two girls in a bar talking about me and calling me "older".
I was shocked! When did that happen?
And why am I panicking? If I like older girls, why do I feel so weird about being one?
Those two weren't saying it like it was a bad thing. Not at all. My conclusion was - I don't mind being old lesbian, I mind being old!
